Target Easter ’08

Target hoped to expand their guests’ idea of what could be in an Easter basket, which this year included a Target-exclusive Easter character – an adorable little tennis-ball-with-a-beak called Chiyo Chiyo.

Easter was also early in 2008 (March instead of the usual April) and reminding guests of that was also a primary objective.

We successfully addressed all objectives in a comprehensive digital campaign that included a basket ideas explorer on Target.com, richly animated banners, a 30-second video spot for Target’s in-store Channel Red network, and a make-your-own Easter card/wallpaper activity online.
