Tom & Jerry Meet Sherlock Holmes
KidsWB asked us to create a game to help promote the DVD release of Tom & Jerry Meet Sherlock Holmes. Having grown up with Tom & Jerry and created games for the property before, we knew we had to capture some of the classic “cat and mouse” while they also worked together to help Sherlock Holmes solve the case.
So, Tom will stuff Jerry into a cannon, shoot him out of it and hold on to his leg so they can fly through the air from building to building. Or, to travel long distances quickly, Jerry will light Tom’s tail on fire and then hold on as Jerry bolts off.
Kids explore seven levels looking for keys to unlock doors, collecting diamonds and special skills like those mentioned above, and ultimately find clues represented by magnifying glasses to help Sherlock solve the case.
